April 13 UPDATE!!long time no update...hahaha...
but im just feeling like doing nothing at all so i'll just update while i have the mood...haha
ive been watching Hot Shot and Jerry Yan and Wu CHun is...
HOTTER THAN YOUR LASAGNA
hehe....im not sure if that's a good description...
Wu CHun acted quite well cuz he's roll is just to act cool...although he's speaking is still kinda weird...
but sometimes i feel he;s character is too show off...haha..he just pops up out of no where and starts showing off his skills...and then stalks jerry yan and xiao chu like a random weird stalker.
anyway.. here's a brief description of what i've been doing since my last post
-studying harder than what i planned
-got a new phone...which is the sexiest phone ever
-my car skidded today and i freaked out...so i'll do my alignment tomorrow after procrastinating for AGES
-finally managed to quit IGA after procrastinationg for...3-4 months
-playing lotsa cello
-spending whole day in uni and not skipping anymore lectures...
-starting to enjoy pharmacy
-but sometimes still very tempted to change to music (especially during exam season)
anyway, my wildest dreams came true, i can finally play a complete cello concerto and participating in a competition as well...also i found the best accompanist and she teaches me how to play the coolest stuff ever...i reackon she can just teach people on musicality and earn a living.
ever since i had this new cello teacher, my whole posture just relaxed and i dont get anymore hand pain or back pain or whatever nonsense...and she taught me how to play this spicatto passage which i have always dreamt to play but thought was impossible
and when i first got it i couldnt stop playing it over and over again, i couldnt believe that my hands were doing it just like that!!! i couldnt believe they were my hands!
MUAHAHAHAHA my first dream coming true!!! well maybe i had other dreams that came true and just forgotten about it cuz people's expectations just get higher and higher....ok come to think of it i thought of another dream that came true last time...haha...so its my second dream that came true now
but that's the trick with music! once you get to a point where you can learn anything you like, you will feel that all that money and time and effort and determination and patience that you sacrificed for it is worth it....just to get that sense of being able to play and enjoy whatever you hear from what you are playing.

This Year's CNY is FUN FUN FUN
err mostly because my cute little cousin is just as cute as ever and she really made the whole trip that much more fun!
However there was this breakout of disease spreading across our family members.
we counted, 17 out of 30++ of us got either fever, diarrhea, and the worst of all that i got myself>>vomitting
however the whole trip was fun, we went kareoke and ate supper almost everynight for a whole week which means i got a lot fatter haha...but will only worry about that when i get back to perth cuz its IMPOSSIBLE to go on diet here.
and the day before we went back to malacca, me and some friends (yokeyin,cheeyin,mengyean,nanzi,yunxin) went for a shopping session in Sunway Pyramind and i spent like...so much money... so so so much just in one day..but its fun...haha..i finally got my pom pom!
anyway after coming back from malacca me and my high school friends when house visiting and we managed to visit 11 people's house in one day! MUAHAHAHA
of course everyone was dead by night...i mean...even in the evening some of us fell asleep in Hui Jian's house...
MUAHAHAHA
but it was fun.! really hope we all can keep it this way every year!
my holiday is ending soon. only one week left in malaysia! but i really enjoyed it
today i heard the best news ever...this morning my family went to 'kau chim' dunno how to say in english but its sort of like...going to the temple to see if we are going to have a good year and if we don't, we pray to God to enhance our year.
and the guy said that im suppose to be having a bf now...haha which i dont and i ask him if i will and he said yes and might even marry! MUAHAHAHA
of course my mum didnt seem happy when she heard it but i find it funny and somehow feel happy since i havent fallen in love in ages.....
anyway, this sunday we're going to celebrate Shaun and yunxin's bday and sally and hui ting's farewell. and i think it'll be the last outing session i'll have before going back to perth...MEHHHhh January 16 hello hellohello hello

i;ve been watching dramas like crazy...
and the latest movie i've watched is Redcliff...it is really really good! one of the best war related movies i've ever watched
and im really sad cuz i didn't know there was such a movie till my brother talked about it....this is what going to Australia can do to you...u just miss out on all the great asian movies.

nextly, ive been listening to jay chou's songs all the time! and not lee hom!

 although leehom's new album has many REALLy REALLY HANDSOME photos, i still prefer jay

The one song i can keep listening over and over again from his Heart's Rain (Xin Yu in chinese)

August 26 Got 2 drivers license!I haven't blogged for more than a month!
how cool is that.
sometimes when i was just about to post a blog and i wonder 'isn't this post kind of a little show off?'
'is this too much information?' 'why do i have to be so self conscious?'
its so hard!
but maybe its because i've matured more to the point where i feel blogging isn't fun anymore...
it used to be so fun just posting lame and perasan pictures!
just looking back at old posts makes me happy! and now i can;t even be bothered to charge my camera batteries
but anyway, regardless of all the nonsense, i've decided that i can;t resist telling the whole world that i got my WA drivers license!
and now i have a Malaysian as well as a WA license!
being able to drive around is the one of the biggest step to freedom!
one thing's for sure: Its harder to drive in malaysia but easier to pass the test, and its so much easir to drive in WA but much harder to pass the test.
and i finally got a job! errr not really, actually i got 2 jobs and currently thinking how to tell my one of my supervisor that im going to have to quit as i got offered a pharmacy job. or maybe i just won't quit and work all 3 of them! which might be kinda over the top.
but anyway, everyone goes telling me that i should remember to put studies as my first priority, its funny how they just say that without even asking me what's my first priority.
anyway, im starting to live life to the fullest again! back to how i did in SMKBU where i cannot stand wasting a single minute.
even so, i still enjoy studying (meaning to say studies is still my first priorty). although some units can be a pain in the S.
and im still spending as much time playing my beloved cello!
July 19 new hairstyle!since last year october, i had the worst experience of cutting my hair cuz the hair dresser just cut it super short...
and never really dared to cut hair since then.
only had a short trim once because of a diving trip.
and after 7 months of not cutting my hair...i knew i had to do it some time...trim off all the split ends...
and this time im actually happy with it!!!
and its mushroom hairstyle!!! MUAHAHAHA
i never thought it would work on my cuz its always curly...
the last person i've seen with mushroom hair is yokeyin which was quite a long time ago...
which means hmm...its quite an outdated hairstyle? or i just never noticed it on anyone else but yokeyin...HAHAHA
either way i still like it...
and then i stole this website from meng yean's celebrity look-a-like thing....
and YEY! i look like emmy rossum!!! and Rain! and err David Beckham...should i be proud of it? dunno
anyway, our 5-week uni holiday is ending soon, with one more week to go.... haven't really completed any of my errands that i should have done during this long break -wash my crocs (didn't do) -polish my cello case (never even thought of it till now) -get a WA driver's license (got delayed till mid august, that is IF i pass my test) -practise more cello (don't think it happened either) -get a job and work like crazy (only managed to do it during this last 2 weeks of holidays, but at least i've sorted it out and i can still work 2 jobs when uni starts) -watch heaps of dramas (did for the first 2 weeks but gave up cuz accidentally deleted all videos and photos from my computer) -learnt some cooking from my guardians (did quite well before i started working,but never did any since then) but despite working hard for nearly 2 weeks, i spent so much money on shopping and the best thing is i haven';t even got any pay slip yet...i've just been counting how much money i will be getting and spending them before even getting them...how pathetic.
anyway, one of the 2 jobs im working is in a supermarket called IGA, and part of my job in the check-out counter is to identify the various types of vegetables and type the code in. so we actually have to recognise ALL The vegetables.. and after working crazily for nearly 2 weeks, i still don't really know how to differentiate cabbage, lettuce, spinach, english spinach, and bla bla bla....my guardian taught me and gave me some tips to let me compare between them, but then when the customer gives me randomly one of it, i just can't seem to tell the which is which anymore!!!! hahaha call me stupid or whatever....i know i am...MUAHAHAHA but so far nobody complaint cuz i just put lettuce for all of it and its the cheapest of them all...hehe.... June 30 crabbing! say hi to Mr Crabbie!!!
yes yes!!! my guardian Uncle Ken brought me to crabbing!!!
and we caught 7 crabs!!!
of cuz not as fat as fatty crab in Taman Megah but better than nothing!
 come to think of it, it is quite small lah...hehe
 uncle ken is glad that he can cook chili crabs for dinner!!!

anyway holiday is real fun!
i found a job but have to go medical checkup tomorrow and freaking out about having to take out blood!
and then watching dramas and fanning my new idol Cyndi Wang!

June 19 make up what i missedfirst i was happy that Uni started.
then i was happy that during all my study breaks
and then i was happier before final exams cuz there's no more classes held for the semester.
AND NOW! I AM HAPPY THAT EXAMS ARE OVER
AND THE SEMESTER IS OFFICIALLY OVER!
unless i fail and have to repeat the unit.
First semester wasn't bad at all, i didnt even use any textbooks! all we needed to do was just study lecture notes and finish our assignments, anyone could easily pass the course just by using a computer besides attending labs and lectures. in fact i regretted buying the books, so from 2nd semester onwards, not going to buy anymore books. Like what our lecturer said " i don't know if its something to do with your generation, but if you don't know something and you can't find it in WWW website, you automatically assume it doesn't exist!".
anyway i have a new habit since coming to perth, that is to study in libraries. always going to different libraries just to get different feeling and hopefully help our studies...which is pure nonsence.... cuz my main reason of studying in libraries is so that i can download heaps of stuff while studying..
and that's what i did all these time. downloading video clips and dramas to prepare for my holidays!
and i realised how many things i've missed!!!
things like....one litre of tears, smiling pasta, spirited away, i not stupid...all these good good dramas and shows...i missed them all!!! but IM NOT MISSING IT ANYMORE! hahaha
but i can't blame anyone for it cuz in the first place i never really watch TV....even when in malaysia.
i even downloaded Phua Chu Kang and realised that its funnier watching it now that im in Australia and haven't been listening much of the manglish accent.
OOH OOH and i didn't even blog that i got a new phone! Nokia 6110 navigator.

watching drama is actually working out pretty good for me, cuz im improving my mandarin reading mandarin subtitles.
and i used to be so narrow-minded, only like to listen to songs by lee hom and jay chou.
but now after watching dramas, i started to listen to songs by other singers and discovered so many stuff that i've missed!
and and Veoh is now banned in Malaysia! but not in Australia! neh neh neh neh neh!
May 13 My 19th birthdayi know it's a bit late to update about my birthday, but it's one of the birthdays i have to update just in case i forget!
so my birthday was on a wednesday, the weekend before my birthday, my guardians took me out to dinner and bought me a really delicious and scrumptious cake.
Also, it looks beautiful...too bad i didn't bring my camera cuz i didn't expect it and only managed to take a pic of what's left over..
 Even so, half the cake looks quite nice...
then on the day of my birthday, my guardians made banana cake, and i told them how sad i felt cuz i was growing older,
therefore we used the same candle that was used for my 18th birthday....
so yeah! i had a good birthday, and my guardian bought me the latest book by the shopaholic author SOphie Kinsella!
and then....the weekend after, sarah asked me to watch movie...she picked me up and went to doreen's house to pick doreen up
but we didn't end up watching any movie...hehe...
we went to doreen's house but we didn't end up picking doreen up....
instead....
we ended up....
well, my friends ended up.....
throwing me a surprise party!!! OMG OMG OMG...it was one of the most organised and well-planned surprise party i've ever seen, and i feel really honoured to be the birthday girl....hehe...thanks to my aussie parents and friends...
 ooh yeah and they had lots of balloons too!
so we ate and played games and joked dirty stuff...
we played STRIP TWISTER! but then cullen who lost first only stripped his socks and then nobody wanted to strip anymore....
but still!!!!!!!!!! taking pics of people playing twister was fun....haha...
 as you can see, some people looks constipated while some look like they are having pleasure from ***
 hmmm...Gozzard (red shirt guy) looks like he's distracted and cullen (green shirt guy) looks like he's asking Gozzard to focus...
 of course i don't want to be left out from all the fun!
it's my last yearbeing a teen!
 nobody was drunk, but they seem like they were really drunk.
 and finally i had my 3rd cake for my 19th birthday! with cool candles!!!!
i got so many presents...lots of chocolates!....and a big big big boaster! now i can sleep with a companion...haha...
my 19th was one of the most awesome birthdays, partly because i don't care much my birthday and people around me some to care more than i'd expected them to. which is quite flattering...

April 13 University students aren't coolhmmm
Being a University student isn't cool although it sounds like it.
hmm....firstly the assignment sucks....there's this programme that detects plagiarism in all the students' work, so we can't be copying and pasting from internet like we did last time anymore...haha... we can't even copy each other's work! OMG!
secondly, we are expected to just...well...study...haha...
thirdly, university food is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY expensive...
fourthly, the university library makes me sick, cuz its a 6 storey building and all the floors are filled with students studying and studying and studying... they make me feel bad... the only thing i do in the library is downloading stuff on my lap top. but then again i only like to study at home.
anyway i have been reading a book lately and it certainly makes my 1 hour bus/train trip to Uni feel as if it's only 5 minutes.
that's what books can do to u, makes u addictive. but why isn't textbooks like that? i wonder....
ooh that book is Bourne Identity...quite an old book but it's really fun
so yeah...im doing 5 units for my course and i shall rate them as following: (note that PITA=pain in the ass)
Introduction to Pharmaceutics Practise- really cool cuz its really easy and we only watch our lectures on DVDs
Pharmaceutics- can be a PITA sometimes but the lab work is fun and the lectures can be interesting and informative
Human biology- it's more of a PITA when we have to remember stuff but it's fun in that we're learning what's inside our body. the labs are fun too! we get to see lots of cadavers.
Health Science Communication- lame...just lame...and tedious...and needless to say...PITA
Chemistry- complete PITA, difficult and lectures and lab work suck...its really sad cuz i used to love chemistry and now its the subject i dislike most.
but despite the rather repetitive usage of the word 'PITA', i still think its a good course. only i dread chemistry labs...
OMG what am i doing! im suppose to be doing a PITA assignment....haha...well the process of doing it is usually PITA but then the satisfaction of finishing it on time and getting it out of the way is good.... ciao!!!

i;ve been thinking to get a new phone...note the word 'get', im not paying for it...hehe...
but if i get a new phone, i;ll be stuck with it for 2 years so i have to make a right decision.
can you please help me make a decision cuz i can't decide which phone is good for me

-camera is 3.2 megapixel
-nice lay out for emailing and internet stuff
-good battery life
problem from reviews:
-lagging problems (can be annoying)
-no navigator
phone B
nokia 6110
-camera is 2 megapixel
-no lagging problems
-has GPS navigator
-i get 100 free sms in australian networks per month
problems:
-battery life is not good
-camera quality is not that good
-headphones plug is unusual (2.5mm instead of the usual 3.5mm)
-considered outdated in malaysia but not really in aus...haha
i really can't decide cuz i want a 3.2 mg phone yet i like the nokia 6110 cuz it has 100 free sms per month as well as navigator which can be useful especially when we travel overseas.
so someone advice ok?
